For us, Spiros Rooms is not simply an accommodation. It is our home. It is our roots. It is all the moments that taught us what love, care and true hospitality really mean.
It was built with hard work, dreams and great love by our father, Spiros, after whom it was named, and by our mother, Vasso. This is where we grew up, together with our grandparents, waking up to the sun and waiting for the sea.
Our childhood summers were filled with swimming, bicycles, friends and laughter. The days passed simply and beautifully, while the evenings always had something special. The courtyard was softly lit, filled with colours, aromas and conversations, and everything seemed to slow down.
Our father used to play the guitar and sing, with a voice that still echoes within us. Our mother was always by his side, and around them were people who were no longer just visitors, but company. Friends. Almost family.
In that courtyard, memories were born. Small, genuine, summer memories. And often, at the end of the evening, we would all walk down to the sea together, singing, and sit on the pebbles under the stars.
These are the images we carry with us. They shaped who we are. They are what we want to keep alive every summer, with every guest we welcome.
We lost our father a few years ago. But together with our mother, Vasso, who is now also a grandmother, we continue to keep his dream alive. With the same love for this place. With the same care for people. With the same wish to make every guest feel comfortable, familiar and free.
